Starting CEGEP is an important time in the life of your son or daughter, as well as for you, especially if this is your first child to reach this educational milestone. It is an exciting time, but it can be overwhelming. That’s why we organize an annual special information session at the beginning of September for parents only.
This information session is designed to help you better understand what lies ahead for your son or daughter in the transition from high school to CEGEP, and to be better prepared to help your child succeed throughout his or her time at Dawson.
An information package is handed out during this evening which contains a list of all student services, an example of a course outline, a table showing the differences between high school and CEGEP and a copy of the Daily Bulletin (a newsletter updated daily which contains relevant information for students).
Parent’s Night took place on Wednesday, September 7, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.
