There are no degree completion programs in Quebec. There are, however, programs available that may be of interest to people with a biomedical laboratory technology diploma:

  1. Université du Québec à Trois Rivières
    • NEW: Bachelors in Medical Biology: Graduates of Biomedical Laboratory Technology can receive up to 24 advanced credits.
    • Short certificate program in Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Immunology: This program can be used as 30 credits toward a bachelor’s degree in medical biology. Admission: DEC in Biomedical Laboratory Technology required
  2. Université de Montréal

    3. Two Bachelor’s programs:

    • Baccalauréat en sciences biologiques
    • Baccalauréat en sciences biomédicales.

    DEC graduates in Biomedical Laboratory Technology can be accepted into the Baccalauréat en sciences biologiques program. Advanced credit is given for some courses as well.

  3. Concordia University

    4. The Faculty of Biology offers degrees in cell and molecular biology as well as many other related disciplines.
    Admission: DEC in Science (additional Math, Physics and Chemistry courses may be required for graduates with a DEC in Biomedical Laboratory Technology)

    Science Foundations (Certificate program): non-degree program for students who wish to develop the necessary background for further study in undergraduate degree programs in Science. 30 credits

  4. McGill University

    5. Degrees in many related science disciplines in the Faculty of Science.
    Admission: DEC in Science (additional Math, Physics and Chemistry courses may be required for graduates with a DEC in Biomedical Laboratory Technology)
