About The Canadian Mentorship Challenge
The Canadian Mentorship Challenge is a nation-wide challenge during Global Entrepreneurship Week, to fuel entrepreneurial mentoring activities across the country and celebrate and raise the profile of mentors. During this week we encourage organizations and individuals across Canada to organize mentorship events in their communities and to nominate mentor rock stars. Hosted this year jointly by Startup Canada and the Canadian Youth Business Foundation, our goal is to collectively mentor more than 10,000 enterprising Canadians over the course of the week and recognize some of Canadas greatest Mentor Rock Stars.
Most entrepreneurs can tell the story of a mentor who offered help at the exact right moment. The wisdom from these smart, altruistic helpers whove been there before can be the difference between your ventures success or failure., said Victoria Lennox, Co-Founder of Startup Canada. The Canadian Mentorship Challenge creates a forum for entrepreneurs to learn from one another and stimulates a national dialogue about the importance of mentorship to entrepreneur growth.
