French as a Second Language Workshop – Level 1 (In person)

Prerequisite : French as a second language—Beginner level or equivalent

Overall Goals:

  1. This course aims to develop the student’s ability to understand conversations on a variety of everyday topics.
  2. In addition, it allows the student to communicate in simple and usual situations requiring only a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and common topics.
  3. Towards the end of the course, the student will be able to formulate simple sentences in the present tense.
  4. Among the proposed themes are location, daily activities, and traveling in the city.

Methodology:

  • Conversations and role-plays.
  • Audio comprehension exercises.
  • Reading of texts.
  • Group work.
