 Spaghetti Dinner

Every year, the returning North South students from the Nicaragua trip host an annual spaghetti dinner. The dinner is held at Dawson College. Family, friends, teachers, past students, current students, and future students are always welcomed to join in eating delicious spaghetti and watching the video from the graduating year’s trip. The viewing of the video and photo slideshow is followed by a question and answer period. This gives people the opportunity to ask about anything concerning the trip and the North South Studies program. The cost of the tickets for the spaghetti dinner is $10 for students and $15 for non-students. During the dinner, the students also will be selling products, such as: fair-trade chocolate, fair-trade coffee, fair-trade rice, hammocks, the field trip journal, and the field trip video.  The proceeds will be going to the following trip projects in Nicaragua.
