Ed Tech Week
Dawson’s Educational Technology Week (Ed Tech Week) is an annual event that takes place in February/March with the goal to bring the new developments of Ed Tech to our faculty. Using different approaches (round tables, workshops, “tech speed dates”, keynote speakers), the Ed Tech Week brings cutting-edge pedagogical and technological approaches to teaching and learning to our teachers.

Gheorghe Comanici is a Google Software Developer, working in the Montreal office on using machine intelligence to make Chrome products faster and more accessible.
He graduated from Dawson College in 2005 and went on to study Mathematics and Computer Science at McGill University.

Using Web 2.0: Tools to Foster Creativity in the Classroom: Tips and Ideas

Sarah Anthony (McGill University) will present an interactive workshop, developed alongside Prisca Fenoglio (Université Grenoble Alpes), which will offer participants the chance to create a pedagogical scenario that fosters creativity in their respective domains using Web 2.0 tools.
