Academic Standing and Advancement Policy
To be in good standing and to register unconditionally, students must meet the requirements of the College Academic Standing and Advancement Policy, as well as the Program requirements.
College Policy
Academic Standing
To be in good standing and register unconditionally:
- Students must have passed more that 50% of their courses for the year (not including Summer School).
- Students admitted in January must pass more than 50% of their courses in that semester.
- Students must also meet the standards of their particular program. If that policy is more stringent than the College policy, the program policy (DEC or AEC) takes precedence.
- Students who do not fulfill the above conditions may register only with the permission of the Academic Standing Appeal Committee.”
Students denied permission to register under this Section, have a right to appeal to the College Academic Standing Appeals Committee.
Graduation Requirements

To obtain a Diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) students must complete the following:
- Successfully complete their courses as per the Course Grid.
- Pass the English Exit Test.
- Pass the Comprehensive Examination.
- Demonstrate the appropriate standards of Professional Conduct.
General Program Requirements and Obligations
- Registration to the professional order OTIMROEPMQ must be done before July 1st.
- Professional Conduct:
The medical nature of the Radiation Oncology Program requires that students develop professional behaviours and ethics in addition to the essential program competencies. They are expected to be trustworthy, cooperative, respectful towards others and responsible for their training. Throughout the Program, students will receive ongoing documented feedback on their professional conduct. - Immunization requirements and a satisfactory certificate of medical health are mandatory once admitted.
- CPR certification must be obtained before starting the 3rd year clinical stage.
- Students must pass the required language exit tests in order to graduate.
- To obtain a working permit in Quebec, graduates from this program must pass the ”Office québécois de la langue française” (OQLF) exam when applicable.
