Career Opportunities

Graduates receive a D.E.C., which entitles them to write the examination of “L’Ordre des technologues en imagerie médicale, en radio-oncologie et en électrophysiologie médicale du Québec” (OTIMROEPMQ).

Those who successfully complete this examination become registered technologists and they are able to work across Canada and in many other countries. Graduates must meet provincial French requirements before being granted a work permit in Quebec.

Many career opportunities exist for Radiation Oncology graduates, including virtual planning, CT-simulation, dosimetry, and brachytherapy.

Furthermore , they can expand their practice into:

  • Administration in hospital environment
  • Commerce: Radiation Oncology commercial companies
  • Education: academic or clinical educator
  • Research Studies
  • Higher Education
