Elizabeth Kirkland, Ph.D. History McGill University, is an active member of the Montreal History Group. She and her group is funded by the FRQSC team grant for the project «Modernité et légitimité a Montréal, 1800-2010». Her current research looks at the experiences of Montreal women in international settings during the first two decades of the 20th century – one woman in London, England, the other in Paris, France. She will be presenting a paper at the Canadian Historical Association entitled “Lady Julia Drummond and Her Transatlantic Move Home during the Great War”.
