Lise-Hélène Larin
Lise-Hélène Larin(BFA Concordia University 1976,MFA Université du Québec a Montréal 1988,PhD in-progress Université du Québec a Montréal) teaches painting and drawing at Concordia University as well as sculpture and drawing at Dawson College.Larin is a multidisciplinary artist who creates non-figurative 3D animated films that question sculpture,painting,photography and 3D animation.Since 2002,her work was selected three times at Siggraph,an international Conference on 3D animation,and was part of a travelling show in Europe and the USA. The Sony Centre in Berlin has recently screened her films, which were also shown in Belgium and the USA.She received an award of excellence for her research in 3D animation.
