Julianna Joos

Julianna Joos is a full-time teacher at Dawson College in the Fine Arts Department; she has been teaching here since 1998 in Printmaking, Drawing and Computer Art.

Julianna Joos has degrees from Concordia University and from Université du Québec à Montréal, respectively at the BA and the Masters levels; in 1996 she graduated with a Maîtrise ès arts (M.A.) Programme de maîtrise en arts plastiques, concentration création.

Her professional career started more than thirty years ago; she has had numerous solo exhibitions and has participated in over one hundred group shows around the world.

Her production has evolved from a thirty year printmaking concentration to a multidisciplinary production involving printmaking, computer assisted weaving, digital imaging, and sewing. She is as comfortable in traditional processes as she is in digital technologies.
