Lorraine Simms
Lorraine Simms is a painter who lives and works in Montreal, Quebec. She graduated from O.C.A.D. and completed her MFA at Concordia University, where she also taught for many years. Currently she teaches in the Visual Art Department at Dawson College. She has been the recipient of numerous awards from the Canada Council and the Conseil des Arts et des lettres du Québec. Her work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions across Canada and in the U.S. Her paintings are included in many important public collections, including the Musée du Québec, the Tom Thomson Memorial Gallery and Concordia University.
