Advanced Week
This is a course designed for those who have already completed Digital 1 and 2. With a more specific focus on different genres of photography, such as portraiture, documentary, landscape photography, architecture and macro photography, this week promises to be very exciting. Campers entering this course will be pushed to explore their creative side and make pictures that express their reaction to the world around them. Once again, incorporating field trips, students who enjoyed Digital 1 and 2 will undoubtedly love digital advanced week. By the end of the week each camper should come away with a small portfolio of work in the genre of their preference.
Every Friday at 4:00 p.m., we hold an exhibition/slideshow of students’ work.
Campers must be prepared to bring a functional digital camera package, including all of the following*:
- A digital camera (preferably one with all manual controls)
- Sufficient memory (256 megabites card minimum)
- Downloading cable (camera to computer USB)
- Charged batteries and a battery charger
Campers will also have to purchase digital photographic paper. They need 10 sheets of 8×10 or 8.5×11 matte or pearle Epson digital photographic paper.
Note: Absolutely no camera phones allowed.
