What you will learn
In the Interior Design Program, you will learn to identify, research and creatively solve problems relating to the function and aesthetic quality of interior space. The emphasis is on residential, commercial and institutional interiors. Building systems and structure, furnishings, three-dimensional space planning, colour, materials and environmental design are some of the topics covered.
Learning activities are designed to provide conceptual sophistication, specialized knowledge and intellectual autonomy. You will learn by blending theory and applied practice and become equipped to solve problems with a creative, ethical and logical approach, balancing technological, business, and human values.
Program graduates with three years of experience in the field are eligible to sit for the examination given by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ).
